How much mortgage can I get?

65% of the property value (LTV) is generally the most you can expect to borrow against a property.  In the case of a 2nd or 3rd mortgage you must deduct the balance of the senior loan(s) when calculating how much you can borrow. The 65% maximum does not mean a property will qualify for than much in every situation, some property types and location are approved at lower levels. Higher LTV approvals are obtainable with tie-in properies as additional collateral, or other compensating factor.
